Trauma-Informed Therapy
We all have times in our lives that feel particularly overwhelming. In these situations, having strong reactions or emotions that are hard to manage is natural and very understandable. To find steadiness in ourselves, we have to learn to practice caring for ourselves. I can help you develop a stronger and more trusting relationship with yourself and start feeling better.
My style is encouraging, direct, and compassion-focused. Through our work together, you will learn to understand yourself better, feel sturdiness in stressful or chaotic moments, cope more effectively with depression or anxiety, and let go of beliefs, behaviors, or relationship dynamics that aren’t serving you. I also place an emphasis on finding practical coping skills that make sense in your life. All people and relationship structures are welcome in my practice!
